  • 1 1/2 c. chopped ham (low sodium or low-fat)
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour or Bisquick
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded extra sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • dash of ground red pepper
  • 1 c. 1% low-fat milk
  • vegetable cooking spray

Directions

    Spray medium skillet with cooking spray.

    Add ham in hot skillet and saute 3 minutes.

    Combine ham after cooked with flour and next 3 ingredients in a bowl.

    Add milk, stirring just until moistened.

    Drop batter by heaping tablespoons onto a baking sheet (spray cookie sheet).

    Bake at 400° for 22 minutes.
