Ingredients

  • 3 c. chopped ham
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 can Butter Me Not biscuits
  • cheese

Directions

    Cook onion, pepper, margarine, flour, milk and soup together until it thickens.

    Put diced ham in casserole dish and sprinkle with the lemon juice.
  3. 3
    Pour cooked mixture over ham.
  4. 4
    Split biscuits in half and stretch as much as possible without tearing up.
  5. 5
    Sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. (I wait until it is about ready to take out of oven, then I sprinkle with cheese and let melt.)

    A good way to use up leftover ham.
