  • 2 lb. ground pork
  • 2 lb. ground fully cooked ham
  • 4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions

    In a bowl, combine pork, ham, crumbs, eggs and milk.

    Shape into 12 ovals, using 1 cup of mixture for each.

    Place in an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.

    Combine brown sugar, water, vinegar and mustard; pour over loaves.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting every 15 to 20 minutes. Place the loaves on a platter and spoon some of the sauce over them.
