- 4 medium size onions
- 6 Tbsp. bacon drippings or cooking oil
- 6 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 medium head cabbage
- pinch of salt
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. curry powder
Directions

1Cut onions into half rings.

2Fry in bacon drippings.

3Crumble up bouillon cubes and add these to the onions.

4Quarter cabbage, then slice it sideways into onion-ring-width strips, no more than 1/2-inch wide.

5Add to onion mixture.

6Stir well so that all cabbage slices are coated with oil.

7Cook over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

8Sprinkle salt over cabbage; reduce heat and cook, covered, 10 to 15 minutes.

9Stir cabbage mixture from time to time.
