Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1 lb. ground beef, or bacon, or shrimp, or sausage, or crab
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 to 3 green onions, chopped
  • dash of pepper
  • any seasonings to taste

Directions

    Brown meat, drain, and set aside.

    Blend next 4 ingredients. Stir in meat, cheese and onion.

    Add seasonings.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until brown.

    Can be made ahead of time.

    Freeze before baking.
