Hamburger Rice and Peas

  • 1 can (about 14 Oz.) Green Peas
  • 2 cups White Rice
  • 2 pounds Hamburger Or Ground Beef

Directions

    In a medium saucepan, bring four cups of water to a boil.

    Add the rice and stir with a fork to make sure the rice is leveled and completely covered with the water.

    Cover, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about twenty minutes.

    Brown the meat in a frying pan.

    Make sure all the meat is browned.

    Drain the oil and put the pan aside.

    In a small saucepan, dump the can of peas and bring to a boil.

    You can use fresh peas or frozen, but in my mind why mess with it when the canned peas are simple and delish?

    Once your rice is done, combine all the ingredients in a casserole dish, stirring to make sure its mixed properly.

    Dish it up warm and tuck in!
