- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground meat
- 2 (16 oz.) cans chicken broth
- 1 qt. plus 1 pint water
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can crushed tomatoes (I prefer stewed)
- 1 small pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 c. elbow macaroni
Directions

1Fry hamburger in a large pot.

2Add chicken broth, water, onion soup mix, celery, tomatoes and frozen vegetables.

3Simmer 15 minutes.

4Add the macaroni and simmer 10 minutes.

5Salt and pepper may be added to taste.

6(I do not add salt or pepper; onion soup gives it enough flavor).
