  • 13 cups water (i used beef broth)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups celery
  • 1 1/2 cups carrots
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne
  • 5 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper

Directions

    chop potato's, onion, carrots, and celery. set aside.

    in a pot place 12 cups of water or beef broth, potatos, onion, celery, and carrots. bring to a boil and let simmer until potato's are soft.

    while potato's are boiling brown hamburger meat. and set aside.

    when potato's are done add hamburger meat, tomato sauce, parsley, basil, garlic powder. onion powder, cayenne, salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce let simmer about 10 minutes.

    in a small bowl add 1 cup of water or beef broth and flour. when well mixed add to potato's and stir until thicken (about 3 mins).
