  • 3 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon oil
  • 8 to 10 drops red food coloring
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. butter

Directions

    Add the first 3 ingredients and then cook on medium heat until it reaches 310° on a candy thermometer.

    Remove from heat; add cinnanom oil and then food coloring.

    Butter cookie sheet and pour the ingredients in the cookie sheet.

    Let cool, then break with a spoon.

    Shake in powdered sugar.
