Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. light Karo
- 1/2 tsp. flavoring oil
- food coloring
Directions

1Mix sugar, water and Karo in a large saucepan.

2Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

3Boil without stirring, until temperature reaches 300°.

4Remove from heat.

5After boiling ceases, stir in flavoring and a few drops of food coloring.

6Pour into a greased 9 x 9 pan. Let cool while greasing the table top and scissors.

7Pour candy onto table top.

8Have one person cut it with the scissors, into strips, while others cut the strips into candy pieces.

9When done, put candy into a colander and sprinkle with powdered sugar, or pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Cool and break into pieces.

10Dust with powdered sugar.
