Ingredients

  • 3 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 bottle flavoring
  • food coloring
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Directions

    Add sugar, syrup and water in pan.

    Stir until dissolved.

    Add food coloring; do not stir anymore.

    Boil about 15 minutes or until thermometer is 310°.

    Test for readiness by dropping a bit in cold water.

    Pour in lightly buttered pan.

    Let sit until hard and cold.

    Break up.

    Shake pieces in bag with powdered sugar.
