- 5 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 heaping tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 3 tsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
Directions

1Combine flour, buttermilk, oil, soda and salt in a large bowl which has a tight-fitting cover.

2Mix thoroughly.

3Combine water, sugar and yeast.

4Add the flour mixture, mixing thoroughly again. Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator.

5To make biscuits, pinch off amount of dough needed and knead on a lightly floured board.

6Roll out to desired thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.

7Bake lightly greased pan at 450° until golden brown. This dough will keep for about 25 days in the refrigerator.

8Makes about 3 dozen biscuits.
