- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water.

2Combine soda and buttermilk.

3Mix flour and Crisco (cut).

4Add yeast and buttermilk mixture.

5Refrigerate 2 hours (overnight).

6Roll out and cut. Brush tops with warm butter.

7Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 375°.
