  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 8 tsp. sugar
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. Crisco oil
  • 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast

    Combine yeast with lukewarm water.

    Add liquid ingredients a little at a time until well mixed.
