  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 level Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 3 Tbsp. catsup
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. beet juice
