  • 2 c. cooked beets
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. water (I use juice from canned beets, as long as equals 1/4 c.)

    Mix sugar, flour, water, vinegar.

    Cook until thick; add salt, butter and beets.
