Hawaiian Ham Pie

  • 13 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons dried onions
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 (5 ounce) can ham
  • 1 (4 ounce) candeviled ham spread
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1 (29 ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • 12 cup brown sugar (optional)

    preheat oven to 350.

    soak dried onions for 5-10 minutes.

    Drain.

    Place pie crust in 8 or 9 inch pie tin.

    Combine ham, ham spread, bread crumbs, egg, milk, onions, mustard and 1/2 cup of the pineapple.

    Blend well.

    Place in pastry shell.

    In a small bowl, combine remaining pineapple and sugar.

    Arrange on top of ham in spoke pattern.

    Bake 45 minutes.
