- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 18 to 19 Heath English toffee snack size bars, crushed and divided
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In large bowl with electric mixer, beat butter well; blend in brown sugar, egg yolk and vanilla.

3By hand, mix in flour, 2/3 cup Heath bars and nuts.

4Press into ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jellyroll pan.

5Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until browned.

6Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle remaining Heath bars over top.

7Cool slightly; cut into bars while warm.
