  • 6 12 cups cubed peeled baking potatoes (about 2 3/4 pounds)
  • 2 cloves garlic, halved (more if you prefer)
  • 12 cup milk
  • 12 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh oregano
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 18 teaspoon pepper

    Place potato and garlic in a large saucepan; cover with water and bring to a boil.

    Cook 20 minutes or until very tender; drain.
