- 8 (1 oz.) Hershey bars
- 1 (5 1/2 oz.) can Hershey syrup
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour stem pan.

3Melt candy bars and syrup; cool.

4Cream sugar and butter; add eggs one at a time.

5Sift flour and soda; add alternately with buttermilk.

6Add chocolate mixture, pecans and vanilla.

7Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.

8Let cool 10 minutes, then turn out on cake plate.
