  • 4 to 5 lb. boneless spareribs, cut up
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. ground mustard (I just use yellow mustard)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika

    Place half the ribs in a slow cooker. Top with half of the onion. Repeat layers. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over all. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or until ribs are tender. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
