- 14 c. flour
- 3 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. oil
- 6 1/2 tsp. salt
- 8 c. water
Directions

1Mix 1 1/2 cups of warm water, yeast and sugar; set aside and let rise until bubbly.

2In a large bowl, mix the yeast mixture and the flour.

3Mix well.

4Add oil, salt and 8 cups water.

5Knead for 20 minutes.

6Let rise 6 hours, covered.

7Knead again.
-
8Grease 6 pans, fill pans 1/2 full.

9Let rise to edge of pans. Beat 1 egg and brush over top of loaves.

10Bake 1 hour at 450°.
