  • 8 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 cans cream
  • 2 cans water
  • 2 blocks butter
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 5 to 7 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in water
  • vanilla wafers or soda crackers

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat until it comes to a full boil.

    Pour into a 9x13 pan lined with vanilla wafers or crackers.
