Ingredients
- 46 oz. can tomato juice
- 2 (13 oz.) cans peeled tomatoes
- 1 small cabbage, diced
- 1 box frozen, sliced okra
- 1 box frozen baby lima beans
- 2 to 3 lb. potatoes, diced
- 2 to 4 slices fatback
- 1 tsp. salt or to taste
- pepper (optional)
- 1 can diced beef chunks (optional)
Directions

1In a large stockpot, add tomato juice, peeled tomatoes and fatback.

2Bring to a boil for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

3Add cabbage and okra.

4Boil for 10 minutes.

5Add lima beans and potatoes.

6Boil for 10 minutes.

7Reduce heat to medium and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.

8Makes 8 to 10 two cup servings.
