  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 12 cup whole wheat flour
  • 12 cup flax seed (ground for more nutrition or whole for more texture)
  • 12 cup chopped walnuts
  • 12 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 13 cup honey or 13 cup molasses
  • 1 cup butter

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325 and take egg and butter out from fridge.

    Combine oats, flour, flaxseed, nuts, and dates in a large bowl.

    Beat egg and add.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Melt butter, sugar, and honey in saucepan over low heat.

    Allow to cool a bit, then add slowly to ingredients in other bowl while mixing thoroughly.

    Fill mini muffin tins, smashing down just below surface level with back of spoon so they're tightly compacted.

    Bake 9-12 min until browned and chewy.
