Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 c. uncooked oats
  • 1/3 c. honey or molasses
  • 1/3 c. butter or oleo, melted
  • 1/4 c. unprocessed bran flakes or wheat germ
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sunflower seeds or chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. raisins

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Combine all ingredients except raisins; mix well.

    Bake in lightly greased pan (13 x 9-inch) at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Stir in raisins.

    Spread mixture onto ungreased sheet; cool.

    Store in a cool, dry place or in refrigerator.
