  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 14 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 12 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 14 cup honey
  • 1 12 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350F.

    Grease bread pan and flour lightly.

    Mix together flour, oats, baking powder, and salt In a separate bowl, beat egg and mix together with honey and milk.

    Combine ingredients, mixing well.

    NOTE: mixture will not be smooth.

    Pour into bread pan, bake for about 1 hour and 15 min, or until crusty and tester comes out clean.

    Pour melted butter over the top and turn out on wire rack.
