- 1/2 c. granulated sugar, caramelized
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. cream
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1To caramelize sugar, place a heavy skillet over low heat. Stir constantly until melted and brown.

2Place granulated sugar and cream in a double boiler and heat to boiling point.

3Add caramelized sugar and stir until well blended.

4Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.

5Beat thoroughly.

6May be reheated over hot water.

7Store in jar in refrigerator.
