  • 1 (7 oz.) box croutons
  • 2 lb. chicken, skinned, boned and cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can water

Directions

    Saute onion, celery and green pepper in the margarine.

    Add the soups and water to pan; stir.

    Heat until hot.

    In a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, arrange chicken chunks.

    Then pour over the croutons, the mixture of sauteed ingredients and soups.

    Cover with foil and bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.

    Remove foil; bake an additional 30 minutes.
