  • 2 cans minced clams with juice
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 slices American cheese

Directions

    Melt butter; put onion and pepper (chopped) in it with oregano and parsley.

    Simmer until onion and peppers are soft.

    Add clams with lemon juice.
  4. 4
    Cook for 10 minutes more.

    Add bread crumbs and mix well.

    Put into a square tin dish and add American cheese on top of it.

    Bake at 350° until cheese is melted.

    Serve warm with crackers.
