- 2 cans minced clams with juice
- 1 stick butter
- 1 green pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 2 slices American cheese
Directions

1Melt butter; put onion and pepper (chopped) in it with oregano and parsley.

2Simmer until onion and peppers are soft.

3Add clams with lemon juice.

4Cook for 10 minutes more.

5Add bread crumbs and mix well.

6Put into a square tin dish and add American cheese on top of it.

7Bake at 350° until cheese is melted.

8Serve warm with crackers.
