- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 c. potatoes, cut in 1/4-inch slices
- 4 carrots, cut in strips
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
- 1 lb. hot dogs, cut in 1-inch pieces
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Put first three ingredients and 1 cup water in 3-quart pot. Bring to a boil and add potato and carrots.

2Cover and let simmer 15 minutes.

3Add peas and hot dogs.

4Cover and simmer about 6 minutes longer.

5Season to taste with salt and pepper.

6Remove bay leaves and serve.

7Yields 6 servings.
