Ingredients
- 1 peck small tomatoes
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 6 to 8 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. basil leaves
- 3 large onions
- 6 to 8 hot red peppers
- 3 large green sweet peppers
Directions

1Peel and quarter a peck of small tomatoes, add sugar, salt, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, garlic and basil leaves.

2Simmer on stove 45 minutes.

3Dice onions, sweet peppers and 8 to 10 hot red peppers.

4Add to mixture and return to boil.

5Pour into hot jars and seal.

6Makes about 10 pints.

7More hot peppers may be used if a hotter salsa is desired.
