  • 1 gal. tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 3/4 c. ground hot pepper (jalapeno)
  • 2 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. sugar

    Cook for approximately 1 hour, or until thickness desired, in pot without lid.
