Hot Spinach Or Broccoli Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. round sourdough bread loaf
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped red pepper
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 lb. Velveeta, cubed
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped spinach or broccoli, thawed and drained
  • 1/4 tsp. dried rosemary leaves, crushed

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Break bread in pieces and bake about 15 minutes.

    Saute celery, pepper and onion in margarine.

    Add cheese. Stir over low heat until melted.

    Stir in remainder of ingredients. Heat thoroughly, stirring constantly.

    Serve hot with bread pieces and/or vegetable dippers.

    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
