Icebox Fruit Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. box graham wafers
  • 1 lb. box seedless raisins
  • 1 lb. nuts
  • 1 large can milk
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries (4 oz. red and 4 oz. green)
  • 1/2 lb. marshmallows

Directions

    Roll crackers to a fine meal.

    Add all fruit and nuts.

    Heat milk until you can dissolve the marshmallows in it, stirring constantly.

    Pour over mixed ingredients.

    Mix real well using hands if needed.

    Pack back in cracker box, lined with wax paper. Wrap in foil to store in icebox.

    I make mine 2 to 3 weeks before Christmas.
