- 1 cup mint leaves, pressed down
- 2 tbsp loose tea leaves or 2 tea bags
- 2 strips lemon peel
- 4 cups boiling water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- 4 lemon slices
- 4 sprigs fresh mint
Directions

1In medium bowl, combine mint, tea, and lemon peel; cover with boiling water and let steep 15 minutes.

2Strain and stir in sugar; cool completely and mix in lemon juice.

3To serve, half fill 4 glasses with ice cubes, add mint tea and garnish each glass with a lemon slice and mint sprig.
