- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Grease a foil-lined baking sheet.

2Melt butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat.

3Stir in pecans and sugar.

4Cook 7 to 9 minutes, stirring constantly, until sugar is syrupy and golden brown and nuts are toasted.

5(Candy thermometer will register 300°).

6Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

7Immediately spread candy mixture in a thin layer on prepared baking sheet.

8Sprinkle with salt.

9Cool completely, then break into small nut clusters.
