Ingredients: BROWNIES; 2 cups flour; 2 cups sugar; 1/2 cup butter; 1/2 cup shortening; 1 cup strong coffee; 1/4 cup dark cocoa; 1/2 cup milk; 2 teaspoons lemon juice; 2 eggs; 1 teaspoon baking soda; 1 teaspoon vanilla; ICING; 1/2 cup butter; 1/4 cup milk; 2 tablespoons dark cocoa; 3 1/2 cups icing sugar; 1 teaspoon vanilla

BROWNIES
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup strong coffee
1/4 cup dark cocoa
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 eggs

ICING
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons dark cocoa
3 1/2 cups icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

BROWNIES: Combine flour& sugar in large mixing bowl.

Melt butter& shortening in saucepan; add cocoa& coffee and heat to boiling.

Pour boiling mixture over dry ingredients& mix well.

Add remaining ingredients& mix well.

Pour into greased 11 x 17 inch baking dish and bake in preheated 400F oven for 20 mins or until done.

Allow to cool before icing.

ICING: Melt butter in saucepan.

Add cocoa& milk and heat to boiling.

Add icing sugar& vanilla; mix well& spread over brownies.
