- 1/4 c. yellow corn meal
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- cassia, ginger and nutmeg to taste
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Scald milk; save out 1/2 cup.

2Add meal and cook 20 minutes. Add sugar and other ingredients.

3Bake for 1 hour in uncovered casserole.

4Stir twice, then add remaining 1/2 cup milk.

5Bake 30 minutes longer.

6Serve warm with whipped cream.
