- 1 double measure Irish whiskey (2 jiggers)
- 1 Tbsp. double cream
- 1 c. strong, hot black coffee
- 1 heaped tsp. sugar
Directions

1Warm a stemmed whiskey glass.

2Put in the sugar and enough hot coffee to dissolve it.

3Stir well.

4Add Irish whiskey to fill within an inch of the brim.

5Now for the tricky part:

6Hold a teaspoon curved-side up across the glass and pour the cold cream slowly over the spoon.

7Do not stir the cream into the coffee.
-
8It should float on top and the hot whiskey-laced coffee is drunk through the cold cream.
