Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 qt. tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1 pkg. wide noodles, uncooked
- 8 oz. pkg. Mozzarella
Directions

1Saute onions and green peppers in butter.

2Brown ground beef and pour off grease.

3Add garlic salt, onions and peppers.

4Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and water.

5Cook until boiling.

6Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.

7Pour half of the beef mixture into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.

8Top with noodles.

9Add the remaining beef mixture and top with cheese, making sure all noodles are covered.

10Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350° for 45 minutes to one hour.
