Ingredients
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and seasoning; mix well.

2In saucepan heat milk, water and butter until warm (120° to 130°, butter does not need to melt); add to flour mixture.

3Add egg.

4Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed.

5By hand, gradually stir in 1/2 cup cheese and enough remaining flour to make a firm dough.

6Knead on well-floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 3 to 5 minutes.

7Place in a greased bowl, turning to grease top.

8Cover; let rise in warm oven (turn oven to lowest setting for 1 minute, turn off) for 15 minutes.
