Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. lasagne
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. Italian pork sausage
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil, crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano, crumbled
  • cottage cheese
  • 1 pkg. process Swiss cheese (about 8 slices)
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook lasagne in boiling salt water (until tender) about 15 minutes.

    Stir occasionally with wooden spoon.

    Drain and rinse with hot water.

    Separate lasagne and hang over edge of colander to allow for easier handling later.
