  • 1 cup ap yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup ap flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 oz canned sliced jalapeno with juices
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 12 oz can of evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

    preheat oven 425 Fahrenheit

    heat a cast iron skillet spray with nonstick

    mix all your ingredients pour into skillet and sprinkle paprika on top bake for 20-25 minutes or until done

    when done baking rub with stick of butter
