- 1 large can whole corn
- 2 c. cornmeal (self-rising)
- 1 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. green onion, chopped
- 2 to 3 hot peppers, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. celery, chopped
Directions

1Beat eggs; add corn, cornmeal, oil, soda, salt and milk.

2Fold in onion, pepper, celery, black pepper and chili powder.

3Pour in a 9-inch greased pan.

4Bake at 400° for 30 to 40 minutes.
