Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic (optional)
  • 4 to 5 cheese slices or equivalent
  • 1 large or 2 small cans mushroom bits and pieces
  • 3 eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 large or 2 small cans tomato sauce or paste
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Brown meat and drain off excess fat.

    Add onions, celery and pepper
