  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. orange extract
  • 1/2 c. applesauce
  • 1 c. raisins, plumped
  • 1 lb. mixed candied fruits
  • 1 lb. pecans
  • 1/2 lb. green cherries
  • 1/2 lb. red cherries
  • 3/4 c. plain flour

    Mix cake mix, eggs, salt, orange extract and applesauce. Next, mix fruit with flour. Add dry ingredients with batter.

    Bake at 275° for 2 hours and 45 minutes or until done.
