- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. ReaLemon lemon juice
Directions

1Melt butter; add sugar, corn syrup and salt.

2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 3 to 4 minutes (mixture will become slightly opaque).

3Remove from heat.

4Gradually stir in evaporated milk.

5Add the lemon juice and beat vigorously.

6Serve hot or cold.

7The sauce may separate while in refrigerator.

8If this happens, beat vigorously until it resumes original appearance. Serve over fruit cake, bread, puddings, etc.
