  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 5 to 6 carrots, cut in julienne pieces
  • 4 to 5 potatoes, cut like French fries
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 cans French-style green beans, drained
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Brown ground beef and onions in electric skillet; drain excess grease.

    Spread potatoes evenly over beef; spread carrots over potatoes.

    Spread celery over carrots.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Sprinkle oregano generously.

    Cover and cook 15 minutes at 350°.

    Spread green beans over mixture.

    Spread cream of mushroom soup over green beans.
