Ingredients
- 2 c granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp light corn syrup
- dash salt
- 2 squares Baker's chocolate
- 2/3 c milk or cream
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions

1Place 2 quart saucepan on stove over medium heat, with all ingredients, except butter and vanilla, stirring all only until sugar is dissolved.

2Cover until it begins to boil.

3Remove cover and reduce heat to low.

5candy thermometer, cook until thermometer reads 240 degrees.

6Remove from heat and add butter - DO NOT STIR.

7Allow to cool undisturbed until temp is 120 degrees. Add vanilla and whip until fudge begins to dull.

8Pour onto buttered marble candy board, aluminum pan or similar surface.

9Cut into bite sized pieces when ready to serve.
